It was mid-July. This night brought a heavy rain. But that never stopped Raphael from being out and keeping a watchful eye over the city. Very few things ever did. By now he and his brothers were 21, but not much had changed. They were still ninjas, still always training, still had enemies- many of whom were the same- still lived in the sewer hidden away from people and still out protecting the people whenever they could. Their sensei, Master Splinter was still training them regularly, but he was getting up there in age. Every now and then they noticed him having some arthritis or various pains, or him needing to rest more or sleep in longer. But he could still kick their shells and they knew it. This evening Raphael had a little argument with Leonardo. That was also nothing new. It happened quite regularly. But the argument ended with Raphael leaving the lair.
